\u200e\u200e\u200e"\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eEma has to go all the way with everything. So, naturally, her journey \u200etowards healthy nutrition was \u200e\u200e\u200e\u200euncompromising!\u200e\u200e\u200e Mom did not just \u200echange the food but her whole lifestyle:<\/p>\n

Forget about perfumed laundry,
\nFrom now only ecological laundry \u200edetergent.\u200e

And these are just a few examples. Naturally we all expressed strong \u200eopposition. Even I, advocating a healthy lifestyle, thought that it was \u200eexaggerated. Life as we knew it changed radically. Suddenly the \u200ewhole refrigerator was green. There was nothing appetizing to eat \u200eexcept when Aba would buy ice cream on the sly. Foreign \u200edevices, such as a food dehydrator, began to appear in our home \u200ealong with equally strange foods, such as chia, which we had never heard \u200eof. \u200e<\/p>\n

Ema is not only extreme but she is also a perfectionist… \u200e<\/h3>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eVery quickly the bizarre foods became delicacies;<\/h3>\n

\u200eThe laundry fragrant,<\/h3>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eAnd Mom?<\/h3>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eShe never looked so good!

\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eI think that I can safely say that my mother has never been more happy. \u200eTruthfully? Not just Ema, but Aba is radiant, Joel loses his temper less \u200ewhen confronted by the strange food, Naava drinks a green smoothie \u200edaily and me? I went with Mom to study raw food.\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200eDo not, for one moment, entertain the thought that it was a picnic!<\/p>\n

Mom \u200ewould awake three hours before we needed to leave. When I would \u200efinally awake, she would be waiting for me outside the apartment door. \u200eDespite the military discipline, it was an amazing experience. Six \u200ehours a day, every day, five days a week for a whole month. \u200eTogether, Mom and I, "cooked" raw food. In the end I learned to live \u200ewith the strict regimen (\u201cEma, go and I will follow you momentarily\u201d). I \u200eonly regret that it was a month too late\u2026\u200e \u200e\u200e\u200e"<\/p>\n
