I love surprises. I love surprises so much that I am always \u200ehappy to find a new way to surprise a family member or friend. \u200eAs luck would have it (or not), most of my family does not like \u200esurprises\u2026\u200e<\/p>\n

I surprised hubby with a visit to a gourmet raw food restaurant \u200ein New York.\u200e\u00a0I don\u2019t remember how I discovered Pure Food and Wine but \u200ewhen I did I made it a goal of mine to taste of its delights. My \u200edarling went out of his way to accommodate my wishes.\u200e<\/p>\n

It was clear to him that he would not leave the rabbit food \u200e"beanery" with a happy\u00a0tummy!\u200e<\/h3>\n

Disbelief, shock and wonder accosted us! Not only did we \u200eleave Pure Food and Wine<\/a> content, but we actually floated in \u200ethe heavens as we left. There was no need to do a makeover \u200emeal at a \u201cmeatery\u201d. We even made a quick stop around the \u200ecorner at their Lucky Duck shop to bring home some of its \u200emagical delights.\u200e<\/p>\n

Unbelievable how tables turn, people change and surprise \u200eawaits around every corner. My man spends about a week \u200eevery month on a business trip to the States. These days, if he \u200ehas any free time in New York, can you guess where you will \u200efind him? Darn right! He\u2019ll be dining there at MY raw food \u200erestaurant.<\/h3>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eNot fair, not fair at all!!\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/h2>\n

This week he took a taxi with his business agent to his home \u200eaway from home. As luck would have it, they were very \u200e\u200e\u201cunlucky ducks\u201d, the doors were locked closed. Did I mention \u200ethat hubby does not like surprises? Could troubles be brewing \u200ein the heavens?!\u200e<\/p>\n

Surprises. My family does not like surprises and lately my path \u200ehas been laden with them\u2026\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n

A surprise can come from a place of wonder, discovery, \u200enovelty and curiosity. I am sure that you have heard of almond \u200emilk. What about flax seed milk?! Macadamia cheese?!\u200e<\/p>\n

I spoke to my husband regarding plans to have a nut milk and \u200echeese workshop in our home. I wanted to check logistics and \u200eextract a recommendation from him. He just had to get smart with \u200eme\u2026\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eWould you recommend the cheese?\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eI would highly recommend your spreads but they are not \u200echeeses but rather spreads! Spreads, that is a fitting name. There is \u200enothing wrong in calling them spreads. It would be fallacious to \u200ecall them cheeses.<\/p>\n

And almond milk?\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n

Almond milk? Milk is made by a cow. Cows and goats are \u200emilked. I don\u2019t know how to milk an almond. Milk comes from \u200ethe verb to milk.\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eAre you teaching me Hebrew?\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eYes.<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eSo what would you call almond milk?\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eAlmond brew.\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eBrew sounds like a witch\u2019s brew, magic.<\/strong>\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eBrew comes from the word to drink, beverage. Brew is more \u200erelevant for medication and not for witches. Witches are not \u200efashionable today.\u200e<\/p>\n

And what did smart a-s have to say about my healthy energy \u200esnacks?\u200e<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eYES; both thumbs up! I heartily recommend a taste. The only \u200eproblem is that you only give me tiny samples. In order to truly \u200edue them justice you must give me some more to try\u2026\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eWhat can you say about the taste?\u200e\u200e<\/strong>

\n\u200e\u200e\u200eThe taste? They have a rich taste without being heavy. Often \u200ewhen something is rich it weighs discomfortingly heavy and \u200eimpedes activity of any sort.\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eBut the taste?\u200e<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eThe taste is exquisite with a strong aftertaste of \u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200e\u200emore!\u200e\u200e\u200e<\/p>\n

\u200e\u200e\u200eCall it whatever you want as long as it tastes\u200e\u200e \u200e\u200e\u200egood!\u200e\u200e<\/h3>\n
