Coconut Ginger – Sports Drink



The coconut water from one fresh young coconut
‎½-1 t Himalayan salt
‎1 T sweetener of your choice (raw agave syrup, maple syrup, date syrup)‎
‎1 T fresh ginger‎
The juice of one lemon

Blend and drink (You can make a larger batch and freeze it for later too.)‎

Coconut water is an excellent source of electrolytes which are lost during ‎an intense workout. Legend has it that coconut water can fill in for a ‎sterile blood transfusion in an emergency!‎ (Don't believe everything that you read….)
