The coconut water from one fresh young coconut
½-1 t Himalayan salt
1 T sweetener of your choice (raw agave syrup, maple syrup, date syrup)
1 T fresh ginger
The juice of one lemon
Blend and drink (You can make a larger batch and freeze it for later too.)
Coconut water is an excellent source of electrolytes which are lost during an intense workout. Legend has it that coconut water can fill in for a sterile blood transfusion in an emergency! (Don't believe everything that you read….)
