?Why Do We Manage Change Like A Military Operation

Why do we manage change like a military operation? ‎The ‎‎‎battle‏ ‎‎‎‎between Team Me and Team Self is being fought with a mighty force, ‎without an ounce of forgiveness or compassion! There is no way that we would so ‎dismissive of our biggest competitor nor our worst enemy.

Even today, I fight the ‎‎‎‎small‏ ‎‎‎‎voices inside my head telling me that I am not good enough, I should have ‎done more (better) and I should not have eaten of the "forbidden fruit".

We can do ‎better with ourselves, both within our thoughts and our actions. I provide you ‎here with nine healthy tips. In numerology nine means life: the power of renewal. Is ‎it not about time that we began?

To Your Health! Nine Healthy Tips:

A‏‎‎‎dd ♦‏

‎‎‎Add in trumps denial! Add in color on your plate, water in your cup … watch the ‎good crowd out the bad!‎‏

‎‎‎B‏‎‎‎alance ♦‏ ‎‎

Balance is the key. There will be days when you’ll forget to work out, go off of ‎your healthy eating goals, work too hard … You were unable to spend quality time ‎with your spouse? A special picnic on the beach for the two of you will serve as a ‎great make-up. Aim to balance all of your primary foods. Don’t know what ‎primary foods are? Hint: it is not about food but rather more important themes in ‎our life such as relationships, career, exercise, spirituality …. Of course, please ‎balance the food on your plate as well!‎

‎‎‎C‏‎‎‎hoose ♦‏ ‎‎‎

Choose! This is an important one. Our life should be a succession of conscious ‎choices. Your abstention of choice will allow others’ choices to determine your ‎path. Be active and not reactive!‎

‎‎‎D‎‎‎ance ♦‏ ‎‎‎

Dance! Move and move with pleasure. Choose your dance of choice. Be it tennis, ‎biking or walks in the park, focus on ease and enjoyment. Physical activity should ‎not be a punishment!‎

‎‎‎E‏‎‎‎at ♦‏

‎‎Eat! Don’t live in denial; denial begets overcompensation. Eat well; nourish your ‎body, mind and soul with energies which will sustain and enhance your health.‎

‎‎‎F‏‎‎‎un ♦‏

‎‎‎Fun Don’t forget to have fun! “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we ‎grow old because we stop playing.” (George Bernard Shaw)‎

‎‎‎G‏‎‎‎ive ♦‏ ‎‎‎

Give. In the end the gift of giving gives most to the giver. Volunteer and help ‎those less fortunate than yourself.‎

‎‎‎H‏‎‎‎andy ♦‏ ‎‎‎

Handy healthy snacks should always be within reach. Take a few extra moments ‎in the morning to add in some healthy snacks to take with you to the workplace, ‎the playplace, the wellplace or other.‎

‎‎‎I‏‎‎‎magine ♦‏ ‎‎

Imagine. Imagine it. Be it. “Be the change you seek.” (Mahatma Gandhi)‎

We are caught up in a frantic search for the latest panacea, the current superfood ‎superstar, but between you and me, in the strictest of confidence of course, we ‎already have all of the knowledge and tools that we need. Isn’t it about time that ‎we chose to use them?‎
